Here’s another New Year’s Eve look to inspire you for Wednesday night!

If you’ve been following Glitter & Spice for a while, you may have noticed that I really don’t wear a lot of black. I have a handful of black dresses, like three black shirts (one being worn above), and one black skirt (and you’re lookin at it!). So, for me to wear black… on black… on black… on black is more than unusual: it’s borderline-freakish.

Whenever my friends from the East coast visit me in Texas, the majority of them laugh at the amount of color in my wardrobe. I have an entire section of pinks (about 10 dresses – no joke), I consider leopard print a neutral, and the darkest and most earth-tone I get is navy (I do wear a lot of navy). My friends in New York City definitely wear a lot more black (and gray and brown) than I do… so when I was in NYC a few weeks ago, I thought it about time to embrace their darker fashion choices and go for the outfit above.

Though I’m pretty sure this will be the last time I ever wear so much black. Back to pink it is!

What colors do you wear the most?
