I swear, Central Park is one of the most picturesque places in New York City. It’s always a highlight in any of my trips to “the city”. There’s just something so special about that piece of manicured heaven in the middle of the urban jungle that is Manhattan. I especially love strolling around the skating rink, marveling at the ice skaters being so graceful! And not falling down every ten seconds!

Unlike me. There are some great family photos of my sister and I ice skating as kids in Beaver Creek. She’s gliding and getting the hang of it. I’m using a walker without wheels to keep myself upright and still struggling like no other. No joke. A few of those photos made it into the videos shown at our Bat Mitzvah parties, so all of my friends (and her friends) have seen photographic evidence of my inability to skate. Embarrassing. I’m a disaster on ice.

Heck, I’m a disaster on level, regular ground. Let’s be real.

Where’s your favorite spot in Central Park?
