Cable Knit and Capes

DSC01015 DSC01010 DSC01024 DSC01014What I’m Wearing:

Sweater: Ralph Lauren, old / Pants: J.Crew Factory / Shoes: Ivanka Trump, color sold out (similar) / Cape: Leslie Tessler
Purse: Rebecca Minkoff / Ring: C.Wonder, old / Earrings: C.Wonder, old

My family often makes fun of me for my “odd” fashion choices. Between my bags (like my Kate Spade book clutches) and my love of sparkly everything (and everything in between), I’m the butt of many a joke.

You have no idea how much mockery stemmed from my purchase of this cape. And FYI: I have no regrets.

I’m completely obsessed with capes. No, this is not the only one I own. Yes, I feel like Robin Hood / a superhero when I wear them. If you’re in the market for a cape, I would absolutely suggest checking out Leslie Tessler’s selection: she’s basically the queen of the capes. All of her capes are totally exquisite and handmade in Argentina… which basically means that this cape has visited a continent I haven’t visited yet (anybody want to go to South America?).

Oh I should probably mention: the interior lining of this cape is a gorgeous pinkish red… which is super fun against the olive coloring of the coat! It’s currently sold out but add your name to the waitlist… when I ordered my cape nearly a year ago, I heard from the Leslie Tessler team within a month (and got my cape for 50% off!).

And the fabulousness of this coat is made even more fab by my new blue bag! I’m obviously super excited. In case you haven’t noticed yet by me Instagramming it and writing about it here. Again, obviously super excited.

What pieces are you most excited about wearing right now? Let me know in the comments!
