I spent this past weekend in Austin. Spent time with the fambam, enjoying Texas’s idea of “winter weather”.
Looking outside my window today in Dallas, it’s hard to believe that less than 48 hours ago I was in Austin, sweating in 75°F weather. It was a positively gorgeous day. Saturday evening, I attended a gala and seriously regretted my choice of gown: a sleeveless velvet number. I was totally schvitzing and it wasn’t pretty.
But today? Freezing rain and sleet and general cold version of hell. Eww, I know. So I’m staying cooped up in my warm apartment, curling up with a big ol’ pot of tea and as much soup as I can possibly find in the recesses of my pantry. Any work day that I can spend in pajamas is a great day in my book.
But, thinking back, perhaps I was a little overeager in breaking out the whites…
