I found it!
“It” meaning my new go-to place in Uptown, of course!
It’s worth going to Eureka! just to try out their incredible Moscow Mule. A fun spin on a classic (and served in some super awesome copper mugs!), the Moscow Mule might just be my favorite thing I had at the restaurant – and I loved everything I tried!
As our appetizer, my friend and I had the Bruschetta – goat cheese, basil, tomatoes, lemon zest, and a balsamic glaze. Yummy, light, and the perfect start to any meal. While my friend chowed on the Veggie Beet Burger (she assured me it was delicious and then swatted my hand every time I tried to sneak a bite), I enjoyed the 80’s Style Taco Salad Wrap. Really, really enjoyed. It was damn good. What makes it “80’s Style”? I literally have no idea. But I have a feeling that Richard Simmons is somehow involved… or, at least, I hope he is.
Eureka! is located at the corner of McKinney Avenue and Blackburn Street in Uptown, Dallas. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, Monday through Friday, from 11:00AM till midnight (1:00AM on Thursday and Friday nights!), as well as for brunch, lunch, and dinner on Saturdays, 11:00AM till 1:00AM, and Sundays, 10:00AM till midnight.
Best part? Eureka! has awesome deals and funtivities happening almost every day of the week. Tuesdays? Half-priced wines. Wednesdays? Steal the glass (I guess that’s a good a way as any to stock up on glassware?). On Thursdays there’s live music and on Saturdays and Sundays, patrons can enjoy $5 Bloody Marys all weekend long. And don’t forget their daily Happy Hour – 2:00PM till 6:00PM and then 9:00PM till close! Those are some deals I can get behind! PS don’t feel left out, Austin – Eureka! is opening a location there soon!
Have you tried Eureka! yet? What’d you get?
