The past few weeks, I’ve been going makeup-free increasingly often. And that’s unheard of for me – previously, I always at least put on mascara before leaving the house. Not anymore.
First, it started with me going totally bare-faced and mascara-less to morning workout classes… then it became me going makeup-free out running errands on weekends… now, I’ve even started going to work sans makeup on occasion. Giving my face (and my eyelashes) time to breathe has definitely changed my skin – no longer dry or clogged, my skin has started to take on a sort of glow… and I’m quite happy about it!
This all started almost two months ago, when Bellatorra reached out to me about their Cellular Renewal Complex Moisturizer. At the time, my skin was a total disaster. I was going through a particularly stressful period and my doctors had changed my medications and I had a broken hand and basically everything that was going on manifested itself in a dry, clogged face. Total disaster. Fast forward to the present and my skin – as I said earlier – has taken on a sort of glow. I’m not sure how much of that is due to my regular use of Bellatorra’s Cellular Renewal Complex Moisturizer, but I’m definitely a fan of it and hoping that this clear-faced trend continues.
Oh… and did I mention that the moisturizer lightly smells like cucumbers and deliciousness? Because it does. Seriously. The other day, while giving me a hug, one of my friends actually told me that my face smells amazing (is it weird that I’m not weirded out that my friend was sniffing my face?). For the official record, that’s most definitely infinitely better than having a friend tell you that your face smells like ass.
In addition to being available online (with free shipping!), Bellatorra’s Cellular Renewal Complex Moisturizer (as well as their Uplifting Activating Mist, Anti-Aging Facial Cleanser, and Anti-Aging Eye Cream) will be available in Barneys New York stores starting this August.
