What I’m Wearing:
Dress: J.Crew (on sale!) / Sandals: Jack Rogers / Purse: Zac Zac Posen (also on Rent the Runway)
Sunglasses: RayBan / Earrings: old / Bangles: Chamak by Priya Kakkar / Rings: J.Crew Factory, old
Despite the undeniable fact that this dress is really just a disaster waiting to happen (white, billowy, and zip-front? Something is going to be exposed or some food shall be spilled), I’m totally diggin’ it. It’s like the classier version of my super-tight-and-yet-super-billowy zip-front purple dress I loved so much in college (doesn’t that just sound like a college dress? Bad life decision to the max).
After so much rain recently, I am so ready for summer to begin. But not Texas summer. I just mean like the normal, sub-100°F summer that everywhere else in the United States seems to experience while we’re sweltering and schvitzing down here. A proper, non-deathly-hot summer. That’s what I want.
Even if it does get to sweltering temperatures soon, I have faith that wearing this dress will keep me comfortable. Super-comfy cotton (with built-in pockets!!), light, breathable, and machine washable, this dress is a total dream. No questions asked that I’ll be bringing it with me to London and Paris for adventures this summer. Oh, and it’s available in navy and a cute gold foil leaf print too!
