The Grove at Harwood

I’ve been really slacking with the restaurant posts as of late… super duper-level apologies. There’s no excuse.

About two months ago, my friend Mai Lyn of Deep Fried Fit and I finally made it to The Grove at Harwood for the first time. And holy smokes is this place fun.

The Grove is a restaurant slash volleyball court slash bocce ball area slash whatever else you wish to make of it all-encompassing destination for fun in Uptown, Dallas. As it was raining (literally 10 seconds after I took these photos the downpour began), we didn’t partake in the bocce ball or the volleyball, but we most certainly enjoyed the food. And the drinks. And the people-watching (helloooooo shirtless men playing volleyball, you can just keep on keepin’ on).

The Grove makes some truly fantastic cocktails – and some super yum paninis and general noms to boot! If I recall correctly, I had the Caprese panini while Mai Lyn enjoyed The Cappo panini. We also split an order of the carrots and hummus and each slurped down our very own “Grovitas” (aka Grove margaritas). Yum.

The Grove is located in the Harwood District in Uptown, Dallas and is open every day from 11:00AM until midnight. I would definitely recommend going once it cools off to the high 70s for a fun afternoon of volleyball, bocce ball, and drinks with friends! The Grove is the perfect place to go in a large group and would even make for a fun date spot if you feel so adventurous. Be sure to let me know what you get – I cannot wait to go back!

Have you been to The Grove yet? What’d you order?
