Oh my goodness, how is it already November?!?! Seriously, where has this year gone? I feel like it was just yesterday when I was packing for my trip to Europe. Guys – that was four months ago!
One thing I love about this time of year is how it’s the same every year. Every year, the moment the chill in the air appears, I revert back to my uniform: button-down shirt + cable-knit sweater + jeans or cords + loafers or boots. It has been my fall uniform for over ten years. It is so comfortable. It is fool-proof. There are hundreds of possible iterations. Occasionally, I’ll even swap out the pants for a chic skirt.
I know: live it up, Amanda.
I had a fairly relaxing weekend – spent much of it curled up in front of the TV, watching Call the Midwife. My friend recommended it to me and I must say: I absolutely love it! Yesterday, I hosted a pumpkin-themed fall brunch for Circle Seven Five members. It was such fun. I made pumpkin EVERYTHING. Pumpkin pancakes, pumpkin french toast, pumpkin banana bread, pumpkin punch, pumpkin fruit dip, and – of course – pumpkin spice lattes! Don’t fret, I’ll be posting all of the recipes on the blog over the next few weeks. Time to party, kiddies.
PS if you are in the Dallas area and have any interest in joining Circle Seven Five, please shoot me a note and I’ll send you an application! I so highly recommend it – I’ve met so many great girls and made so many friends through it.
