Guys. I’m so ready to go to some rustic hunting lodge. Is that weird that that’s seriously the only thing I wanted to do while wearing this outfit? But actually. Flannel + vest + Hunter boots = rustic hunting lodge.

Preferably in the British countryside, but beggars can’t be choosers.

This vest is a J.Crew staple. I love the matted, classic appearance – last year, they were so shiny that I ended up buying the men’s version just to get that matted look! (Not kidding) The best thing about the vest? (Beyond the gold buttons, of course!) The pockets. So many pockets. So much room for toys and food and keys and flowers and whatever the heck else one sticks in one’s pockets.

You may notice that my Hunter boots don’t look as stiff as Hunter’s normal rain boots in the photos above. That’s because these are Hunter’s packable boots. I know. Whaaaaaat.

These boots fold up and lay (relatively) flat in the suitcase – absolutely perfect for vacations and adventures. Another added bonus to the lack of stiffness? You never encounter the chafing-leg issue. Because these boots aren’t stiff, they move with you instead of moving against you, thereby negating all possible blisters and scratches from the upper lip of the boot.

These boots are probably one of my top ten most recommended products – well worth the $150 price tag. The only question that remains is what color to choose! (I definitely want the red ones next!)
