I know, I know. I talked about my obsession with Pantone’s Colors of the Year last week. But this rose quartz and serenity outfit was just too perfect to pass up!
Yeah, it’s a bit “spring”, but the miserably cold weather here in Dallas has me dreaming of warm weather… or at least warmer / 50°F weather. I’m damn cold, y’all.
So back to my super on-trend rose quartz and serenity outfit. This dress is priced wonderfully and has the most chic pink brocade pattern on it. I highly highly recommend sizing up – especially if you’re a little bigger in the chest area. And by “chest area”, I mean boobs. If you have big boobs, size up. You and your boobs will thank me later.
And this is officially weird.
Okay less weird: the coat. I sized up in the coat (I’m wearing a large while I normally would’ve worn a medium or small) to create an oversized “boyfriend” look. I highly recommend doing the same as I get endless compliments on both the color and the fit of this coat. Plus, having an oversized coat is ideal if you want to layer like a champ (I can easily fit a button down, thick cable-knit sweater, and a blazer under this coat!). Unfortunately, my coat is old and therefore sold out buttttttt I found a bunch of almost-identical options online (like this one, this one, this one, this one, and this one). Ya dig?
