What I’m Wearing:

Sweater: J.Crew / Skirt: Bel & Beau (similar, similar) / Purse: Chanel (similar for less here and here)
Shoes: Cole Haan / Earrings: J.Crew, old (almost identical) / Bow Ring: Kate Spade, old (similar)
Flat Ring: J.Crew, old (similar) / Signet Ring: BaubleBar

In light of Valentine’s Day being so stinking soon, I thought I’d feature a lil romantic, girly Valentine’s Day outfit today on the blog. How fun is this tulle skirt? I’m such a sucker for a midi skirt… and for tulle… and so combining them is obviously my Valentine’s Day outfit dream come true.

Though, let’s be real, since I’m single A.F., my Valentine’s Day outfit will likely be this set.

So now for an overview of my aforementioned nonexistent love life. Cause it’s been a while since I did one of those.

Towards the end of 2015, I realized that dating is exhausting. I honestly don’t even know how many first dates I’ve been on in the past few years. Each one is so draining… after a week of dates, I feel like the energizer bunny after falling off a cliff. No fun. And everybody says that dating is supposed to be fun… right?

Heck, even making up the nicknames for my dates (from “Captain Hook” to “The Green Lantern”) has lost its joy. And that was where I got 92% of my fun while dating to begin with. So I’m taking a break from dating.

Sorry boys.

But can you bet your bum I’ll still be dressing up for Valentine’s Day. Because any excuse to wear red and pink and throw hearts around like confetti. #AmIRight?
