9 Books to Read this Spring

9 Books to Read this Spring

I love to read and I’ll read just about anything I can get my hands on. For me, there’s really nothing like a good book. As such, I love recommending books to my friends. Finding good books to read is one of the greatest pleasures, and one that must be shared with the masses.

Sure, my recommendations are more often than not novels pertaining to the historical fiction or science fiction persuasions… but this list of 9 books to read this spring includes a little bit of everything – fiction and non-fiction, sci-fy and historical. Keep reading for my full list.

I’m currently working my way through The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins and it is totally awesome. Next up on my list of books to read is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah, followed by Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll (I’ve heard it’s heart-wrenching, moving, and simply incredible!) and then Seveneves by Neal Stephenson. Yes, I have a very busy spring ahead of me.

If you like nonfiction, read Between the World and Me. If you like thrillers, try The Stranger. If you want to read a dark drama, check out Luckiest Girl Alive. Dug The Hunger Games and Red Rising? Try one of my science fiction picks: Seveneves and An Ember in the Ashes. Yep, something for everybody.

Have you read any of the books on my list? Read my review of All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr here – it was one of my favorite historical fiction books of last fall!
