Blue, bows, and the Kentucky Derby. They go together like queso, chips, and a super-strong margarita.
This frock would be the perfect choice for a Kentucky Derby dress. Or for graduation. Or for Mother’s Day. Or for a tea party. Or for just a super chic Sunday brunch because why not.
What I’m Wearing:
Dress: Christian Pellizzari via Rent the Runway / Hat: Tuckernuck
Shoes: similar / Purse: Kate Spade, old (similar) / Earrings: BaubleBar
Bow Ring: Kate Spade, old (similar) / Signet Ring: BaubleBar
The Kentucky Derby is coming up in a few weeks and this dress would be absolute perfection to wear for the big race. Not going out to Kentucky? Well, there are plenty of parties all across the country to which you can wear a poofy, preppy, Kentucky Derby dress and an absurdly large hat is recommended. Looking for one here in Dallas? Try the Day at the Races party at the Lee Park Conservancy! I’m a member of the conservancy and I’ve heard nothing but great things about their biggest event of the year. You should definitely go if you live here in Dallas.
By the way, my earrings are only $36. And I’m completely obsessed with them. You’ve probably seen them before here, here, and here… they’re [obviously] my favorite earrings right now!
