It always makes me so so happy when a brand I truly love reaches out to me to collaborate… and I have two posts this week for which that is the case! Be still, my lil blogger heart.
I discovered Oasis in college. I wanted to wear dresses that were flattering, well-made, cute, and wouldn’t break the bank. I loved shopping with Oasis because a) they fit the criteria outlined above and b) unlike all of my Urban Outfitters-clad friends (FYI, Urban was the only store in Ithaca when I was in school!), I never showed up to a party wearing the same thing as somebody else. Win win in my book. Soooo when they reached out to me to collaborate I pulled a Jane Bennet and was like “yes, yes, a thousand times, yes!”
Oasis challenged me to spread color, print, and happiness… the moment I spotted this pink fit and flare dress (and that darling tassel clutch!), I knew I would have no problems accomplishing my quest.

This look would be perfect to wear to a rehearsal dinner or – with heels – even a wedding. Definitely vacation-ready. I’m currently plotting my summer travels and this whole outfit – particularly the tassel clutch – will definitely be in my suitcase, no matter where I go!
One thing you should note: this dress runs super small. If you’re in between sizes, definitely size up. I usually wear a size 6/8 in dresses but I’m wearing the 10 in the photos above (and it’s a still a bit snug in the chest). Thankfully, being a fit-and-flare, this dress is seriously roomy in the hips and bum… but I would still recommend going up a size or two just to make sure you’ll be comfortable!
Now back to the travels: I’m actually jetting out of Dallas tomorrow for a trip to Orlando. Half work, half play – my mom, one of my best friends, and her mom are all meeting me in Orlando on Friday for a weekend at Disney World and Harry Potter World!!! BE STILL MY HEART I AM SO STINKING EXCITED!
