Scalloped White Skirt

Scalloped White Skirt, Club Monaco skirt and heather blue gray crop top

A scalloped white skirt? Totally me. A tie-up crop top? Perhaps less “me”.

One of my dear guy friends from undergrad was over at my apartment (binge-watching Game of Thrones, obviously!) when this outfit arrived in the mail. I tried it on, and I’m pretty sure he went into shock. Six years of friendship, and he has never seen me in anything this short or with this much belly showing. All one inch of belly.

What I’m Wearing:

Top: Club Monaco / Skirt: Club Monaco / Purse: J.Crew Factory / Shoes: similar
Earrings: Kate Spade, old (similar) / Bow Ring: Kate Spade, old (similar) / Signet Ring: BaubleBar

This is the ultimate Sunday Funday look. Or summer date look. Or girls’ night out look.

This top is very stretchy, but the skirt has very little stretch. As such, I would highly recommend sizing up if you’re in between sizes (or if you don’t like your skirts to be too tight). I’m wearing a size 8 in the skirt and a medium in the top. The top is basically the most comfortable thing in the entire world. Seriously – I wore it with leggings to watch Game of Thrones. For seven hours. It comes in this pale blue, a light gray, and white, while this scalloped white skirt also comes in black and a beigey-pink. I dig.

Alsoooo thank you to all of you who emailed me about my goof in yesterday’s post (since fixed). That’s what happens when you blog from your bed. At midnight. And fall asleep mid-post. I woke up sorta drooling on a completely dead laptop. Sorta. In a totally adorable, Disney princess sort of way. Because I’m a lady.
