So you’re invited to a tea party. I don’t know why or by whom, but just go with it. What do you wear?
A tea-length dress, of course.
But actually… it’s in the name. Shouldn’t have been that difficult.
What I’m Wearing:
Dress: Jill Jill Stuart (via Rent the Runway) / Hat: Tuckernuck / Heels: LC Lauren Conrad
Purse: J.Crew / Earrings: J.Crew, old (similar) / Signet Ring: BaubleBar / Bow Ring: Kate Spade, old (similar)
I rented this tea-length dress from Rent the Runway recently to wear to a girly tea party event. Because truly, what else would one wear to such an occasion?
Also, yes, I’m an adult woman who is being invited to tea parties. Face it: you’re jealous.
Don’t get too excited about my social calendar, y’all. This weekend was anything but exciting. Friday night, I had a date during which the guy actually picked me up using a skateboard (no joke) and then I went over to my friend’s house and we watched The Princess Bride and The Prince of Egypt – both of which she had never seen. I know: whaaaat.
And then Saturday and Sunday, I sat in front of my TV all day ‘errday and watched the new season of Daredevil. It was so so good and so so so worth it. I weirdly really love those kinds of weekends – the ones in which you do absolutely nothing. I get such joy from doing nothing – it’s truly unfathomable. Seriously. I love doing nothing.
Who’s with me?
