Now to continue what we started in yesterday’s post. This embroidered dress would be perfect to wear to Cinco de Mayo next week! It is so flouncy and adorable. And breathable (so key when it’s 80°F+ like it was during this shoot!!). And it has pockets.

So yesterday I mentioned that I had a few local bloggers over for my lil Cinco de Mayo celebration. I love the blogger community here in Dallas. I’ve met so many awesome fellow bloggers and made so many wonderful friends through this little project of mine.
For this shoot, I invited Cameron Proffitt, Lauren from A Lo Profile, and Anna from Fleurdille to come play on my friend’s patio (thanks, Mal!) with me, dress in their favorite things to wear to Cinco de Mayo, drink some blueberry vodka palomas, and chow on some queso and fish tacos (that recipe will be up next week). We ended up sitting around, chatting about life, blogging, family, and my god-awful dating stories till long after the sun had set. These girlies are so fun – definitely check out their blogs and give them a follow!
