Isn’t this dress just perfect to wear to a summer wedding? It is so light and breathable, while still being girly and classic aka wedding appropriate with the little cap sleeves, bow waist, and knee-length hemline.
Oh… and it’s under $100.
Which means it’s time to party.
What I’m Wearing:
Dress: Chetta B – under $100 / Purse: Aldo – under $50 / Shoes: Asos – under $100
Earrings: BaubleBar – under $50 / Bow Ring: similar / Signet Ring: BaubleBar – under $100
I scored this navy bow dress during a recent trip to Last Call. This dress runs a little big so I would recommend ordering down one size – especially if you’re in between sizes. I’m wearing the size 6 and it has plenty of room for the girls. You know what I mean.
I actually wore this dress a few weeks ago in Austin when I went to see the Austin Opera‘s production of The Barber of Seville. If you’re an opera-newbie (or have never even seen an opera), The Barber of Seville is a great opera to see. It’s a classic. You’ll recognize the music. Nobody dies. It’s legitimately funny (even 200 years later!).
Now back to the dress.
The best part about this dress is that it’s great for dancing – a requirement for a dress when you’re deciding what to wear to a summer wedding! The skirt is pretty full (so if you have big hips, fret thee not!) and you kind of feel like you’re about to win Dancing With the Stars when you spin in it.
Or maybe that’s just me.
What are your requirements when deciding what to wear to a summer wedding?
