Now for the third part of my Memorial Day Party series: what to wear to a Memorial Day Party.
In case you haven’t noticed while reading my blog, I am a girly girl who truly believes in any excuse to wear a dress. And this party I hosted with Kate of The Everyday Hostess was no exception. I styled both of us in festive dresses and baubles that Kate Spade at Grand Prairie Premium Outlets sent over for us – just wait till you see the back of Kate’s dress (hint: GIANT bow!) and a closeup of my earrings!
What I’m Wearing:
Dress: Kate Spade, c/o / Cardigan: Kate Spade, c/o / Shoes: Jack Rogers
Earrings: Kate Spade, c/o / Ring: BaubleBar
Hair: The DryBar, c/o / Makeup: Blushington, c/o
What Kate’s Wearing:
Dress: Kate Spade, c/o / Necklace: Kate Spade, c/o / Shoes: similar
Hair: The DryBar, c/o / Makeup: Blushington, c/o
Figuring out what to wear to a Memorial Day Party can be kinda tricky – you want to wear something cute and flattering while also making sure that it’s breathable and has a bit of a stretch. Because end of May tends to be hot and you want to be able to eat at a Memorial Day Party.
Especially if they’re serving cake.
My dress was perfect for the party because it has such a classic silhouette while also being stretchy. Anddddd it has pockets! I love pockets! Also: can we talk about the pearl crab earrings? Ohmygosh. I almost died when I saw those!
Unfortunately, you can’t shop Kate Spade at Grand Prairie Premium Outlets online but I linked a bunch of similar styles below (and at a lot of different price points!) – shop it and let me know:
What will you be wearing to your Memorial Day Party this year?
