Lately, I’ve been getting a ton of questions about how I do my hair for blog posts. Pretty much, it’s either straight with the ends curled in (like here) or in loose curls (like here). Since the former is pretty stinkin’ easy, I thought I’d share my everyday loose curls tutorial so y’all can copy my look.
FYI, I’m pretty sure this hairstyle is just as easy as my straight hair look (and that’s why “easy” is in the title!).
Products you might need:
1.25-1.5 inch Curling Wand | Wide Tooth Comb | Hairspray | Boar Bristle Brush
To get my easy, everyday loose curls, it’s actually pretty easy. Start by taking about a 1/4 inch to 1/2 inch section of hair and wrapping it around a 1.25 to 1.5-inch-thick curling wand (I use this one). Hold the hair around the wand for 10-15 seconds and then gently release the hair from the wand. Repeat all the way around your head and then spray your hair to set.
Told y’all it was easy!
PS feel free to brush through this hairstyle with a boar bristle brush after setting this hairstyle with hairspray. If you wait like 10-15 minutes after using the hairspray (and before brushing), you’ll end up with glamorous startlet-style loose curls. And we all love those :)
