Well, well, well… isn’t this little red dress the absolute cutest? I bought it a few weeks ago while in East Hampton with my grandmother (yes, the one who can’t cook). The moment I saw it in Club Monaco, I was like YAAAAS. The cold shoulders are so fun and the cut is just begging to be worn on a date night. Or to a girls’ night out, kicked off with a round (or two) on the Bistro 31 patio. Or even to a wedding (especially if you’re not afraid of a little attention!).
And – let’s be real – I’m never one to shy away from a little attention!

I’ve always loved red dresses. I find them so striking. You immediately become the easiest person to spot in a crowd. This little red dress says so much – it’s sexy, seductive, and flirty, while also being somewhat modest. It doesn’t make you look loose (morally, I mean) and it keeps the interesting bits covered (you know exactly what I mean).
You know where I won’t be wearing this dress? In Colorado. I leave today for my parents’ house in the Vail Valley. I’ll readily admit that one of my favorite parts of escaping to Colorado is the lack of requirement for dressing up. If you need me, I’ll be living in leggings and this crazy-comfy Athleta cardigan.
