So… fun fact about my grandmother: she does not know how to cook. I mean really. Anything that requires turning on a stove or oven is just out of her wheelhouse. But she does know how to make a mean pitcher of iced coffee (and of iced tea, for the record).
When I was at my grandparents’ home in the Hamptons last week, I decided to add a little somethin’ extra to our afternoon pick-me-up. Recently, Baileys sent me their new almond milk liquor – Baileys Almande. As I discovered, it’s the perfect way to make a spiked iced coffee – particularly for those who dairy-intolerant. Keep reading for the super easy-to-make recipe!
Spiked Iced Coffee
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup of ice
- 1 cup of coffee, room temperature
- 3 ounces of Baileys Almande
Instructions
- Place the ice in a large glass before adding the coffee.
- Pour the Baileys Almande on top and serve!
PS I’d also recommend using this almond milk liquor to make a boozy, dairy-free milkshake! Just use almond milk and some dairy-free ice cream as your base, throw in some mix-ins (nuts, pretzels, nutella, etc), and top it all off with 2-3 ounces of Baileys Almande! Sounds SO yum, right?
