Navy and Pink Outfit for Back to School

Navy and Pink Outfit

One of my all-time favorite color combinations is navy and pink. It’s one of those color combos that works in really any season, and a navy and pink outfit always just happens to look ever so chic!

Pretty much my entire apartment is navy and pink (it’s dreadfully obvious that there is no live-in man in the picture!), so is it really any surprise that my closet is basically stock-full of different ways to create this color combination?

So… it’s time to get real with y’all.

As you may have noticed, my posting has been really irregular over the past few weeks… across all platforms (blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitterand Snapchat). Part of that is definitely due to school starting, but in all honestly, I’ve just felt frightfully uninspired lately. I’ve felt like all of my posts were just padded with SEO keywords to help play the Google game (embarrassing, but true). I haven’t shared anything of consequence lately. I’ve been in such a desperate rush to get 4-5 posts on this site per week that I’ve abandoned my voice and the overall quality of my posts has suffered.

Over the weekend, I did a lot of soul-searching. I love having this blog as an outlet – somewhere for me to be creative, share my experiences, and [hopefully] inspire some of y’all to embrace your femininity and be adventurous. Ever since I first started this blog, I’ve wanted my posts to read as authentically “me”. The greatest compliment somebody could give me after reading Glitter & Spice was that they felt like they knew me – that each post read as if she and I were out, gabbing and catching up over coffee. Talking about dreadful dating stories, delicious meals, and generally chatting about life. And I feel like I’ve strayed away from that.

So over the next few weeks, you may notice my posts changing a bit from what you’ve been reading lately. The most noteworthy change will be that I’m cutting back to three posts per week (or four if I’m really on it that week). I’m hoping that by cutting back so much, I’ll be able to be a little more authentically “me”. I hope y’all will stick around through the bumpy bits ahead as I try to rediscover my voice (and quit worrying about SEO!). As always, I love reading your comments… so please leave comments on my posts if you like what I’m saying (or you don’t!), if you have any requests, or if you just wanna say “oh hayyyyy”.

Until tomorrow, friends!
