Just before my trip to Vail, I stopped in at the Athleta store in Frisco to get outfitted for all of my upcoming activities. You know, for all of the exactly three times I worked out over the course of my three-week-long vacation.
Yes, that’s total. I know, super impressive.
My #1 item I wanted? A cute pair of pants I could wear for both hiking on the Village to Village Trail and also for when I went to Golden Eagle in Beaver Creek for my post-hike lunch (my absolute favorite lunch spot – they have the best sandwiches!). Enter these olive pants.
What I’m Wearing:
Top: Athleta, c/o / Pants: Athleta, c/o / Sweatshirt: Athleta, c/o / Sneakers: Asics
Sunglasses: A.J. Morgan / Earrings: similar / Ring: BaubleBar
The thing I love about these olive pants is that they’re perfect for going from workout to playtime. Over the weekend, we got a much-needed blast of “cold” air in Dallas (AKA it was in the 80s instead of 100°F+)… I actually wore this exact outfit on Saturday for a day full of running around town (thankfully sans any actual running), getting ready for school to start, and seeing friends I hadn’t seen in [what seemed like] ages.
While most of Dallas seems to want to be dressed in couture when running errands, I’m all about that athleisure life. I don’t know about y’all, but when I’m dashing around town, I want to be comfy. If I’m running errands, I’ll choose sneakers over heels every time.
And, for the record, it’s actually slightly killing me inside that I need to be dressed like a real person again now that school has started (damn you, business attire!).
