Burgundy Travel-Friendly Dress

Happy Sunday, friends! Hope you’re having a supafab weekend. Aside from Friday night, I’ve been pretty much holed up in the #pinkchairpalace all weekend, studying accounting like there’s no tomorrow. But at least I had an interesting Friday night, right?

Friday night, I went to my first-ever Boulevard. What’s that, you ask? In case you don’t already know, I’m currently pursuing my MBA at SMU here in Dallas. SMU has a very special tailgating tradition called “Boulevarding” (yes, it’s apparently a verb): they turn the entire main street of campus into giant tent setups and really just a huge party. A huge, red, white, and blue (SMU’s colors) party.

What I’m Wearing:

Dress: SheIn, c/o (under $15!) / Sweater: J.Crew, old (similar) / Shoes: Cole Haan
Purse: Zac Posen (via Rent the Runway) / Sunglasses: A.J. Morgan / Earrings: Goodnight Macaroon
Watch: Daniel Wellington (15% off by using code “GLITTERANDSPICE“) / Ring: BaubleBar

Unfortunately, I missed the first Boulevard of the season last weekend because I was traveling for my friend’s wedding (though this weekend’s game was one of the biggest of the season… so I feel like I’ve redeemed myself). I actually wore this burgundy dress while I was traveling down to Austin on Friday… and it is probably the most travel-friendly dress I’ve ever owned.

When it comes to deciding what to wear when traveling, I really look for two things. First, it has to be comfy as all get-out. And second, it needs to be entirely wrinkle-proof. And ding ding ding, we have a winner: this burgundy dress fulfills both of my requirements! Oh and best part? It’s under $15. #winning
