This post was supposed to go live last week… but then I had a few days of major ups and downs and I was like ehhhh I’m just going to lay here and do nothing instead.

Fun fact about this embellished collar sweater: the shirt “underneath” it is actually part of the sweater – it goes on all as one!
Which I appreciate because I am SO LAZY.
So lazy, y’all.
Especially after this weekend: I drove to Austin and back SOLO (aka about 7 hours in the car with just me, myself, and I) and wore a fancy dress (this one actually) to the opera on Saturday night. Yes, I get more tired the fancier I dress (I blame the heavy fake eyelashes). Does nobody else have that issue? Perhaps I’m alone on that one…
On Saturday, in my fancy dress, I saw Daughter of the Regiment with my parents and one of my friends from school. The high notes definitely kept me awake and the singers were absolutely incredible.
And then I rounded out the weekend with brunch at Café No Sé. At which I planned to be healthy with avocado toast or an egg scramble. And then instead ate a cheeseburger. C’est la vie, y’all.
