Bow Detail Navy T-Shirt

Bow Detail Navy T-Shirt

I meant to write a post for Tuesday. And one for Wednesday. But then I remembered that I had two quizzes on Wednesday… and this biddie needed to study at least a little bit for a little thing called school.

The worst, I know.

But on the plus side, I got an A on my strategy quiz. So yay for that.

Speaking of school, this bow detail navy t-shirt is perfect for going from school (or work!) to play. Though it’s basically a t-shirt, the bow gives it a little more “oomf”, making it at once both playful and professional. I bought it a few weeks ago and so far I’ve worn it to class, on a date, on a girls’ night out, and even with leggings for lounging around at home. Plus, it’s navy. And y’all know how much I love navy.

And bows.

So fun fact: I’ve worn something with a bow every day this week.

But let’s be real, that’s not surprising at all.

This trend kicked off on Sunday, when I wore this and spent the day with my oldest friend,  celebrating her birthday (we’ve known each other since we were infants!). We went for brunch at Proof & Pantry (their eggs Benedict, Dutch cakes, and mimosas are so good!), and then we hopped down the street for the matinee performance of Madame Butterfly at the Dallas Opera. Which was lovely. And surprisingly booze-filled, despite the fact that the opera does not allow sippy cups.

Word from the millennial, arts organizations: allow sippy cups of booze in your performances. And allow people to supersize those drinks (hello, captive audience… the markup could be insane and we would still buy it!).

And there’s your $5,000 idea for the day.
