So fun and incredibly random fact about me: I am a super-fast grocery shopper. Rarely does a trip to the store take me longer than 20 minutes. How do I complete this feat? By coming prepared with my weekly grocery shopping list!

Before we dive in, please note that I am typically only feeding myself. As a result, this weekly grocery shopping list is enough to last a single person a week… but probably not a family of four.

Also, my weekly grocery shopping list might vary based on any special recipes I want to make that week… but there are a few recipes I make just about every week for which I always grab ingredients! (Don’t worry – I share those recipes below too!)

Healthy Weekly Meal Plan for One

Y’all know I love to meal plan. Each week, I go to the grocery store on Sunday (or Monday if I was out of town over the weekend) and then immediately pop home to cook up a storm.

Y’all know I love to meal plan. Each week, I go to the grocery store on Sunday (or Monday if I was out of town over the weekend) and then immediately pop home to cook up a storm.

Lately I’ve been making three recipes on repeat:

  • My shakshuka recipe
  • A healthy chicken fried rice – I basically make this recipe, but I use chicken instead of pork and I add spinach
  • Salmon with brussels sprouts (keep an eye out for this recipe on my Instagram Stories tomorrow night!)

Each one of these recipes is great for Keto or if you’re doing Faster Way to Fat Loss (I do the latter – click here to find out more information about the program). Since I don’t eat breakfast on Faster Way to Fat Loss (only coffee + my favorite almond milk creamer + collagen peptides), these three dishes will typically get me through most of the week. Sometimes, for variety’s sake / if I’m craving carbs, I’ll put the salmon in corn tortillas… but I tend to eat the same things at home week after week.

For my snacks, I eat a lot of apples, berries, and – on Keto days – avocados with sea salt or gluten-free crackers with butter (I know that sounds so thrilling). While I don’t have much of a sweet tooth anymore, I do like to eat something cold after dinner. On any non-Keto night, you’ll typically find me ending my dinner with a Trader Joe’s Fruit Frenzy Bar. Other than that, I’m not a big snacker or dessert-er, so you’ll typically find me drinking a lot of water, tea, or wine!
